Shoutt is Switching from Freelance to Permanent Jobs

The current Shoutt platform closes on 17th July 2026, and a completely rebuilt version launches soon after. This one is built for permanent job search, not freelance work. Here's the full story behind that decision, what the new product does, and how the beta works if you want in.

Shoutt is Switching from Freelance to Permanent Jobs

We built Shoutt as a freelance opportunity aggregator. Our customers loved it, but we could see it was never going to scale. Gigs were concentrated on too few sources, and demand wasn’t there in the way we needed it to be. That was a hard thing to sit with, but it was also clarifying.

We wanted to help more people and solve a bigger problem. That search led us to permanent jobs.

The permanent job market is broken in two ways at once. The listings themselves are unreliable: Indeed and LinkedIn are full of ghost jobs, stale listings that closed months ago, and positions posted as market research with no real intent to hire. And the tools people use to navigate this have made things worse, not better. Apply to more, use AI to write the cover letters, send 150 applications a week. Recruiters got better at filtering bulk applications, hiring managers started ignoring the pattern on sight, and the people applying hardest became the least visible. Every AI tool in this space is optimised for one thing: getting you to send more applications. Not better ones. Not more successful ones.

We wanted to build something focused on results. So we made a simple decision: we only get paid when you land a job. It means we have one job: get you hired. Not keep you subscribing.

What the New Shoutt Does

Find: We scan over 20,000 job sources and filter aggressively. Ghost jobs, stale listings, duplicate postings, low-signal noise: removed. What's left is a clean feed of real, active opportunities that match you.

Apply: For each role you're interested in, we help you pursue it properly. One application at a time. We research the company, help update your CV for the role and write a genuinely tailored application, not a template with the name changed.

Voice: We work from your experience and achievements, bringing out your own voice and helping you articulate your value clearly. A lot of people struggle to back themselves on paper even when they are the right person for the job.

Forms: Our browser extension learns from what you fill in and uses it to complete future applications in seconds. No setup, no profiles, less tedious busy work.

Prep: We build you an interview preparation pack specific to the company and role you are going into. Not generic coaching. Actual preparation for the conversation you are about to have.

Track: Monitor every application, message and response in one place, so nothing gets lost and you always know exactly where you stand.

You stay in control throughout. No auto-apply, no auto-submit. You review everything and decide what goes. Your next career move deserves proper thought, not an algorithm firing off applications on your behalf.

This is what responsible use of AI looks like in job search: intelligent support for a well-considered decision, not a shortcut that undermines your credibility before you've even had a conversation.

Your Account

If you already have a Shoutt account that you’ve used in the past 6 months, it carries over automatically. You don't need to do anything. From August, you'll start seeing permanent job matches instead of freelance opportunities.

If you'd rather not be part of the new Shoutt, you can delete your account at any time here. This removes your account and stops all emails from us.

If you're on a Pro plan, your subscription continues and you keep full access until 17th July. On that date it cancels automatically and you'll receive a pro-rata refund for your unused days to your original payment method within 5 working days. Nothing you need to do.

The Beta - 100 Free Spots

From August, we're running a closed beta. We're taking 100 people through the full Shoutt experience at absolutely no charge, in exchange for honest feedback and the chance to help shape the product before it opens fully.

We're limiting it to 100 because we want to give everyone in the cohort proper attention. This isn't a soft launch with thousands of users. It's a small, focused group we'll work with closely.

What you get in the beta:

  • Full access to the entire platform
  • Completely free of charge, whether you land a role or not
  • Direct access to us for feedback throughout.

What we ask in return: honest feedback on what works and what doesn't, and if the product helps you land something, permission to share your story.

Apply for a beta spot. 100 places available.

(Feel free to share this link with anyone you know that is looking for work)

Post Beta Pricing

Once the beta closes, Shoutt moves to a success fee model: 1% of your first year's salary, paid only when you land a role. No subscription. No upfront cost. Nothing until you're hired.

We think that's the only structure that makes sense for a service like this. We should only get paid when we actually help, not for encouraging you to send hundreds of applications into the abyss.

A big thanks to everyone who supported us during this journey, we appreciate you. Any questions, reach out at support@shoutt.ai. We read everything.
